A beautiful home with breathtaking views

This one-of-a-kind luxury vacation home is ideal for groups of friends and families traveling together—the unique layout and terrific location are just two of the many reasons guests love it.

Beautiful post and beam construction with open and contemporary styling greet you upon entering this home, before the view swiftly draws your attention outward. The panoramic western-facing vista sweeps from Mount Mansfield to Camel's Hump and is especially appreciated from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the great room. The interior layout is perfect for multi-party groups, as each of the three levels boast independent living/entertaining areas, bedrooms, and baths. Everyone has their own space. Cathedral ceilings dominate the upper level, where you'll find the kitchen, dining, and main living area with a gas fireplace. The lower level is home to a recreation room complete with a foosball table, games, and an entertainment center.

A large deck off the front is perfect for coffee, cocktails, and dining al fresco under the shade of leafy trees. A Master Spa hot tub features waterfalls, mood lighting, and a sound system—just steps from the deck, it's a great place for a soak after an active day. Located in Stowe's “Lower Village”, this home offers easy access to the myriad activities and adventures our town and surrounding mountains have to offer. Don't worry about what to do with your gear—the two-car garage has ample storage space to meet your needs.

Everything was great. Our one complaint is there wasn’t a hot tub. The listing stated there was a hot tub. It looks like the hot tub was just removed at some point.

Great house with amazing views.

Amazing Mountain Views. Lots of space and the fire places were awesome. The internet was not the best. Can’t beat being so close to downtown. I would come back.

Beautiful views and well-equipped

Enjoyed the property so much! Lots of space, very private, beautiful views, but so close to the center of Stowe. There is a marmot that lives on the property and it is adorable! My family had a super time and enjoyed all the amenities-movies, video games, and hot tub. Also, the property has everything! There were condiments in the fridge, extra towels and linens, and an iron and ironing board which was greatly appreciated.

Mountain Dream getaway

Mountain Dream was even nicer than the description! The bottom level was perfect for my son, his wife and 2 young children. There were 3 beds, bath, and a game/living area that could be separated from the bedroom. The kitchen was very well equipped. The many windows provided great views and the outdoor hot tub was very enjoyable.

This home has a lovely living room that was a great space for hanging out, cooking, eating, and playing some games with a group of friends for a weekend trip. The rooms were comfortable, and the location is good.

Luxury Home in Great Location!

The many positives: 3 minute drive to the intersection of Mountain Rd and Main St Amazing view of Mt Mansfield and Camel's Hump from deck, hot tub, floor to ceiling windows in upstairs living room and dining area, and large picture windows in upstairs king bedroom and downstairs family room and king bedroom Private wooded lot, the road has less than 10 houses on it so very few cars, you can barely see the road from the house or yard, and you can't see any neighbors from the house or yard The Weber grill, hot tub, and dining table are sized for 8+ people Soaring knotty pine ceilings in upstairs living room, dining area, kitchen, king bedroom, and adjoining bathroom All 4 bedrooms have large en suite bathrooms Very comfy and generously sized couches, perfect for napping Wonderful additions would be a recycling container, a chaise lounge on the deck, and towels for the hot tub. The only negatives: Please check the audio-visual setup because we couildn't get the sound system to work until we realized all but one of the speakers throughout the house were unplugged, we couldn't get the downstairs TV remote to work until we figured out the batteries were in backwards, and we couldn't get the DirectTV to work and didn't want to spend any more time troubleshooting it. This house is managed by Stowe Country Homes. They're friendly and professional, but they don't give you the address until you pickup the keys at their office. I followed their instructions for requesting early check-in/late check-out, but didn't hear back from them. And they encourage you to use their concierge service for restaurant and activity reservations, but their concierge told me I no longer needed reservations (which wasn't true for several of the restaurants I'd listed) and which bike shop they recommended (but to make reservations myself).

Absolutely wonderful stay! Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed at Mountain Dream with our two dogs for an extended weekend. The Mountain Dream house was amazing! It looked just like the pictures. The house is huge with TV, games, wifi, and a hot tub! We would highly recommend this property and the management company. They were very responsive and left a nice gift when we arrived. We could not recommend them more and we will definitely be back!

Gorgeous house; impeccably well maintained!

Our family of 7 (5 adults, a 7 year old and a 3 year old) had an amazing time in this house. Aside from being beautiful and having spectacular views, it was very clean and well stocked. There was also a great manual available to guide us and provide us with resources. We were welcomed with nice preserves and chocolate too. Thanks so much for a wonderful time!

12 of us gathered for a reunion. We had great bbqs, breakfast buffets and revolving snacks throughout the stay! There is plenty of privacy, a large deck, the jacuzzi was relaxing, the beds very comfy. We will definitely be back next year. A fire pit with a circle of adirondacks would top off the experience! Highly recommend Stowe Country Homes.

The house is easy to navigate as it’s very close to town but still has a aw inspiring view of the green mountains. A very special place that we can’t wait to revisit in the winter months! Extremely comfortable and styled to match the surrounding beauty of Vermont.

Our party included three couples and two teenagers. The home was large enough so everyone could have a quiet, private space if desired. The large dinning area and family room accommodated everyone comfortably. The weather was not always the best during our stay but the hot tub got a fair amount of use. Travel to local restaurants and attractions was convenient. We had a great time and recommend this property.

Thank you for sharing this awesome house! The floor to ceiling windows throughout were a plus on the wonderful fall days we had while staying here for a girlfriend weekend! Highly recommend for any reason. The setting is amazing.

Beautiful place with amazing views!

This home has everything you could want and more. It is in excellent condition and was incredibly clean. The views really can't be beat as you have a beautiful view of the mountains in the distance. The floor you enter on has two of the bedrooms each with its own bathroom and a nice sitting room with a gas fireplace. The basement has a living room with a tv (only basic cable down there) but it is equipped with a PS2 and a DVD player (neither of which we used but they were there). Another bedroom with three twin beds is down there with its own bathroom and also the laundry area is down there. The upper floor has the kitchen, the dining area and the main living room with a massive tv and direct tv along with a blu ray player. There is also a gas fireplace up here. This level also houses the master king bedroom with its own bathroom. The kitchen had every appliance and utensil you could possibly want. If anything, the kitchen actually had too many things stuffed into all of its cabinets and it made it difficult to find something simple like a mixing bowl or to put away the dishes cause seriously every cabinet was stuffed to the brim with things, but you can't say it didn't have everything. The property also had a deck, and while it was very low to the ground it had no railing and with a small child I didn't feel comfortable out there without a railing since it was high enough for him to get hurt. But I can see why they didn't want a railing spoiling the views so I wasn't upset in the least by that. It also has a hot tub which we didn't use so I can't speak to that. The home was right outside of downtown Stowe which made it convenient to get to stores and shops but it felt like it was in the country since the surrounding homes could not be seen and were really not that close. Overall I would say this home was almost perfect and I would definitely stay here again. The owners of this home take pride in it obviously and it almost feels as if you are staying at a good friends house but your friends are out of town.
