'Don't be surprised by the route to this place. This 600 year old place has all the luxury and comfort you wish for. Of all places we stayed they made us feel more welcome than any of the others. Service and accommodation are impeccable. If this is not enough to convince you then let me tell you about breakfast. All fresh and in an abundance I've never seen before. Custom made breakfast with fresh eggs from their own chickens. Everybody should try it out but I still hope there's a room for us...

'After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. '

'What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.'
