« Séjour excellent : l'accueil a été parfait et très chaleureux. La chambre est impeccable, très bien équipée et très calme. La maison est très bien décorée, confortable, et le petit déjeuner est vraiment délicieux, cuisiné sur place avec beaucoup de goût et d'attention. Les environs immédiats sont magnifiques, avec notamment un parc superbe (réserve d'animaux), idéal pour la promenade ou le jogging du matin. « The location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. »

« Lovely, cosy pub hotel. Great food with a choice of menus, ranging from the tasting menu to simple (but very well done) pub fayre. We chose from the pub menu, special mention to the fish and chips, perfect! Accompanied by a good choice of drinks, with beer from the local Thornbridge brewery. Very handy spot for local attractions. We stayed for one night on a mini-break and the room was perfect. Lovely bedroom decoration, nicely fitted out bathroom with a decent sized bath and rainfall...
