« AVOID AT ALL COSTS Overall a really horrible stay. From dirty linen to really poor communication it was not a great stay. I definitely do NOT recommend. Holes on the wall, damaged furniture, a dirty sock on the floor, beds not made, smoking alarm coming off the ceiling, dirty linen, no toilet paper… Contact with the host as also been appalling. Been trying to resolve this situation and still waiting on a solution so AVOID! »

« Very enjoyable stay at this property. The house is lovely! Great space in the garden for the kids to play. We set up a badminton net and they used in daily. Good woods at the back of the property to walk and explore too! Perfect if you're wanting to head into Newcastle city centre and many of the local beaches. Slight confusion on the beds when we arrived (6 adults and 3 children), as it there was one set of bedding short. However, Derek and Paula were quick on responding and sorted it very...

« The house met our needs perfectly. We travelled as a family of 8 , grandparents, children and grandchildren. We had everything we needed and the property was clean and comfortable. Even with three cars we never had a problem parking close by. A choice of supermarkets within a few minutes drive made life easy. The centre of Bishop Auckland is easily walkable too. We had wonderful weather and enjoyed sitting on the decking at the back of the property which is a real sun trap. »
