Blending the elemental beauty of Stinson Beach and a boundless source of year-around activities & sightseeing options, the location of this amazing cottage brings together the best of coastal living and inland recreational treats. All seasons covered here with plenty to do; or do absolutely nothing, but relax and enjoy watching the sun setting from your front deck. Two bedrooms, a practical kitchen & all the modern commodities provided. Stay at ease and enjoy. Enjoy an early morning swim in the Ocean or boogie board to your heart's content. There is a rental store at the end of our street with wet-suits and surf boards for rent if you are feeling adventurous. They can also provide surfing lessons. Welcome!

Host called at 3:10pm when I was at the property saying it was double booked . Pretty much … too bad ! I had to turn around and drive back home . Not happy . Trying to get my payment refunded was all on me to make happen . Very poor experience with no compensation for my disappointment and inconvenience

The one lounge chair on the deck was broken. The first time we opened the screen slider door it came off in our hands. We could put it back on, but it just kept coming off so we left it off until we got ready to leave, then we put it back on. Not having any towels for the beach would have been good to know so we could have taken some.The location is amazing and we had a most enjoyable time. I would definitely go there again!

Let’s start with the definition of a COTTAGE. According to Google: A cottage is a small, simple house, usually located in the countryside or away from a city.With this said, the description of this is WAY OFF. A cottage it is not!!!! It is 2 rooms with no doors, a TINY bathroom which was reduced to put in a small kitchenette, a lot of stairs you have to pull all your luggage and ice chest up and down as well as drag all of your stuff a minimum of 20 yards through deep sand. This is NOT a cottage. It’s connected to the main residence which shares a wall so there is NO privacy for you or from the home owners. You can hear them all night. The couch, chairs, tables, night stands and bedding are all stained and very dirty to the eye. The bathroom shower is 3ft X 3ft square and if you weigh more than me (135) and 5’7 then you can’t turn in a circle without the shower door opening. And on that note, the shower door only opens 16 inches because it hits the sink and I had to turn sideways to get out. It also took 20 minutes to get hot water and yes, that is also shared with the homeowner. Don’t let the views be the reason to stay here. There is NO private beach. They rope off some property but when their family or guest are there, it’s all theirs. To say the area is loud is an understatement. This place is sandwiched between 2 large homes which are also rentals and very loud. Personally, all of the good remarks on this place have to be done by family members or friends.

Amazing beach view

We came to California from Texas to enjoy the beach and some amazing hikes. We loved everything about the area. To stay on the beach and have the beautiful state park within minutes of us was amazing. Although we were a little concerned how four of us would share one bathroom, it wasn’t a problem at all. We were so grateful to find a place within our budget actually on the beach. The only thing that would have made the stay even better would have been better communication from the host. The second night we were there the smoke detector started beeping. We messaged the host for assistance but got no response. Thankfully, it took the same batteries as the tv remote and we just swapped them out and all was good. Overall a wonderful stay in a nice little home in a great location. We had a great time. Hope to be able to come back again someday.

Beautiful spot - very convenient.

We had a beautiful stay, it's so nice to sit on the deck and have such an uninterrupted view. You can easily walk to a really good bakery and a couple bars/restaurants. Kitchen and bath are very small but we were mostly so that did not matter - view from the Queen bed is outstanding. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly located for a friend getaway including my pup. Right on a dog friendly beach, it was convenient for daily walks to town for delicious treats. Hostess Angela was super responsive to an issue we had with the water heater and had it repaired the next day. I would love to return to this beachfront gateway
