'Older, charming house in downtown Front Royal was ideal location for our weekend away with friends. Plenty of bedrooms, nice big dining table, wonderful front porch. Appreciated the walking proximity to Front Royal's historic downtown and easy driving distance to Shenandoah National Park.'

'Loved the house, plenty of room for the family. Loved having family dinners at the giant dining room table. Had out of state family visiting VA who wanted to see DC and the Shenandoah Valley so the location worked out great. I would definitely rent the house again. '

'Owners were very responsive when we had to contact them regarding an issue with the home. They were extremely apologetic and went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay. They have all the basics including propane for the grill, salt, pepper, spices, they even had shampoo and body wash! It was a perfect space to watch the sunset and be among friends. 'Ethan and his family werevery gracious and answered all our questions. We were surprised to be on th side of a mountain but our four wheel drive was handy plus 15 minute drive into Harpers Ferry was nice so it was quiet and peaceful. Lots of deer to watch!! Easy to relax!! Our only suggestion would be a small dresser maybe under thevTV and few more hooks for clothing since there is no closet. The kichen, bath and sleeping area were good. 'Wish we could have stayed longer. This area is the only place my husband and I truly relax. House and location were excellent. My only complaint would be that the grass needed mowed. My chihuahua didn't like the grass touching her belly.'

'Lovely property out in the middle of nowhere and we didn’t see a single person during our stay! (We did, however, meet a very friendly dog during an evening stroll!) The property was very clean and well stocked. Looks just as nice as the pictures! I would advise bringing bottled water as what comes out of the tap is not easily drinkable. We had a fabulous time!'
