Cottages in Stafford

'This is a great property, spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Also in beautiful surroundings….so why not 5 stars? I was here for three nights so the “cons” outweighed the “pros” for me. Firstly, it was (and still is) advertised as having FREE WIFI. This is important to me as I was here for work and need internet access when I’m working away. Reality - there is no internet! I did find an EE mobile wifi router in one of the kitchen drawers, but once I switched it on and connected to it,...

'The property is a nice little cottage in a good location with multiple pubs and restaurants nearby. The main issue that let it down, was cleanliness. There was food debris in the cutlery drawer, and I had to wash the grill pan before I could use it. Bedding was clearly well used and had stains on the covers. Generally, the place could use a deep clean. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and it suited our needs.'

'Lovely property tucked away in a rhral location.Only issue was the single track access roads with passing places which we are not used to.The host Lucy and her partner were welcoming and had plenty of advice on the local area.The surrounding area was also lovely with plenty to see and do.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend without hesitation.'

'Behind the black iron door there is a lovely well equipped cottage. The best thing is that it is right in the middle of Cheadle and at the same time a quite retreat, the best of both. We are not the absolute nature lovers, but made trips tot Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool. Close enough for a days visit. But we explored the Peak district as well. We did Buxton and Ashbourne and Leek too. We find the cottage very cosy. We didn’t miss a thing. Everything was there, including good Wifi.'

'We where welcomed in with a few Essentials like fresh bread, cookies, fresh farmed milk and butter. The hut was very tidy and clean kids loved the farm animals right outside the door. Charlotte (host) let the kids feed the animals, was very quite and we enjoyed our getaway from the hustle and bustle off London city. Best part was the fire pit at night where we all sat down and enjoyed our marshmallows and hot chocolate, was a shame that they ran out off wood log. Will most definitely be visiting...
