Hôtel Green Cay Plantation, Saint-Thomas

« The hotel rooms were fine, with a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. The room was clean. The slider door was extremely hard to open. The TV didn't work. We were only staying one night, so neither of these things bothered us enough to move rooms, but I did report the tv. The repair person had already gone home for the night. There was no restaurant or bar on the property. There was a vending machine and they had free muffins, coffee and water in the lobby for breakfast. It's super close...

Le restaurant était fermé en raison d’une tempête tropical le mois dernier mais le resto Sib’s pas très loin était parfait et peu dispendieux et prisé des locaux. Belle piscine ensoleillée. »

« We enjoyed our recent stay at Sapphire Beach Resort. The facilities were clean and well kept, the resort staff were very helpful in giving us tips of how to navigate the island, and our host was very responsive when we had an issue with the a/c not cooling properly. This location is a close ride to the Red Hook ferry, and the snorkeling on the little reef was great! »

« We stayed for one night. The hotel owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated being able to walk to town in the evening for dinner, even though it was rather a steep climb back up the hill. « la literie est très déficiente avec un matelas coton tellement mou et tombant au sol qu'on ne peut pas dormir convenablement. La cuisine mal éclairée (manque néon sous meubles hauts) manque d'éléments élémentaires pour cuisiner : casserole assez grande, ustensiles de cuisine, verres (au moins 4), poêle anti-adhérente, manque de produits d'entretien pour nettoyer la cuisine ...Douche inexistante avec jet minimum sur mur opposé, une pomme de douche reliée à une prise électrique pour chauffer...

« We spent 7 days at the Saint. It was so relaxing. There are several small pools to hang out in. The main pool has a bar and a great view. We had Sunday brunch there and it was yummy, especially the mimosa with fresh squeezed juice. The staff was great too. Very helpful and informative. »

« A charming gem with true island vibes. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The decor was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the shared spaces (like the pool/terrace) were great for meeting other travelers. « I’m saddened to write about this terrible experience with the Landmark Apartments. The communication with the host is terrible! I tried to reach them a week before the trip, a couple of days before the trip and then when I arrived in St Thomas. I finally got in touch with Ronita as we were pulling up to the apartments.
