'The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. The foyer was open, airy, and light. The connecting restaurant was convenient, though we had already eaten. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable. While the building seems industrial, the look was modern and had a cool vibe. There were some eareas of the room that seemed like it could use an updated paint job. Overall it was a lovely hotel and wonderful experience. '

'Parking is a little confusing '

'The rooms were beautifully upgraded, just needs a soap holder in shower. We lucked up on parking got street parking after 6 right across street from property. Valet could have opened the door for us, but hey? Maybe he was upset we didnt use valet. The do have valet for a nearby garage . Didnt use the resturant or bar, acne in late and remodeling was happening in lobby area .'

I stay at hotels a lot for work and had run into the issue before had never, ever had a hotel not honor the original booking and just reprocess the room. But even though Brie, the woman checking me in, *confirmed* they'd received the booking and my pre-payment, seemed almost gleeful in saying that they would not honor it because I'd booked through a third-party website. 'Great location for exploring downtown Richmond and Shockoe Bottom. Comfy bed. New and fresh and clean. Great breakfast room. '

'This staff were amazing, especially as Expedia didn’t communicate with them about the reservation. No problem for the staff as they made it right even though it wasn’t their fault. Centrally located to local restaurants and a short walk to the Allianz Amphitheater. '
