'We have just spent an amazing 5 nights here with friends ageing from 48 - 72 and a 14 year old. Carl was brilliant in communicating with me when I booked for the group and met us with a warm welcome on arrival. He gave a tour of the house giving us all the information we needed. 'This property is excellent for a target market of people travelling for work who just need a functional place to sleep and aren't fussy about the conveniences and luxuies usual in holiday let properties. We were happy with our stay because we had full days planned and were only in the property from 10pm to 8am each day, but I wouldn't recommend a holiday here if relaxing at the property would be part of the plan. The staircase is too steep for anyone older than 65ish or younger than 7ish....

'Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? We all loved the cottage and it's location in Granchester, so near the meadows and easy walk/cycle to Cambridge Tess could not be more helpful, as we wanted to bring our bikes and was very flexible with our arrival/leave times (I know this might not be possible at busier times).
