The home was bigger than expected, with tons of space on the first floor, and we especially loved the large kitchen island. Parking right outside the front door was very convenient (there was also a garage in back, but we didn’t use it mostly because you still have to go around to the front of the house to get in with the code). Nice touches like coffee and a snack basket were appreciated. The location worked perfectly for our plans around Forest Park and downtown. There were plenty of towels, and the 2.5 bathrooms were convenient. The master bath has a huge shower. We also liked having closets and dressers so we could unpack.A few things to be aware of: there’s an extra ID and credit card verification step where you have to submit pictures to a third party (the credit card part didn’t work for me, though they did let me skip it). Wi‑Fi access required entering an email and phone number via a portal that attempted promotional sign-up, and it wouldn’t accept privacy-preserving email addresses, which took a while to sort out. The HVAC is fairly loud. With the thermostat in the hallway and no bedroom return vents, the rooms can get very hot/cold if you sleep with doors closed. Also, while bath towels were plentiful, there were no dish towels. Lastly, the checkout rules were only online; having a printed copy in the house would help, and we received checkout texts after the checkout time.
