'My stay was great. The young man who checked me in was great! There was a lot going on at check in. Seemed like there was a family gathering and kids were all over the place while I waited to be checked in. Over stimulated with all the stuff going on at that moment. Room was great but the fridge wasn’t working. Thought it was but, no. Keep in mind that this hotel is out in the middle of nowhere and it takes 30 mins to get to any of the islands you want to visit. I did a lot of driving. There...

'Front desk very helpful.'

'This is our second time staying at Dry Dock Inn and we were very happy with our choice. The hotel is a short walk from the boardwalk and local shops. There is also a Lake park nearby. They have 2 outdoor pools and a small game room. The front desk staff let us check in when we arrived since our room was ready. They also allow late checkout for a reasonable fee. We will be back to Dry Dock Inn for our next trip to Carolina Beach.'

'Room was clean. The sink leaked a little. Not enough to bother us, and we reported it. Chair cushions in gazebo need some love; they're showing their age and wear. Edge of tub is high, so a grab bar for safety might be in order. Bed was comfortable. Microwave, though small, did it's job well. Refrigerator was nice, too. Would have liked a freezer compartment to refreeze our ice packs, but that was minor. Walls/doors are kind of thin, and you can hear your neighbor's tv and conversations...

'Noisy hvac Couldn’t turn off the noisy fan!'

'Wonderful hotel and location!'

'Overall a good stay . Everything is in walking distance'

'Adorable beach motel! This was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in. Cute and trendy decor, the pool area is beautiful, and the staff is lovely. We will be back.'

'This stay is right on the beach! The beds were comfy and we had plenty of towels between the 3 of us. I gave this 4-stars due to the strong smell of wet dog that lingered throughout our stay. I would love to see an upgraded coffee pot/Keurig in the room. Other than that, I would stay again!'
