'Enjoyed the staff and property. Close to Southport and the coast yet close to local restaurants not just “resort” priced restaurants. Breakfast was ok but not many fruit offerings and items weren’t always refilled in a timely manner.'

'Beautiful room, looks brand new and was nicely appointed with very nice furniture. The fridge was retro and cute, bed was very comfortable. Some dustier floors than I would have liked but sometimes this is to be expected in beachy environments. This was nothing major, overall the room was lovely and comfortable and I would recommend this as a great place to stay. '

'The hotel was nice, but not up to the expected standards. There was only one elevator working, the breakfast was fair, the pillows were miniature, and the A/C was noisy. Theses are minor, I know, but somewhat agravating. The guest, (which was not your fault, were slaming doors until 2AM.'

'Very overpriced. We were expecting more of a resort type hotel but this is not that type of property. It is more of a motel with a small restaurant in a separate building. The best thing is that it is right on the beach and that was nice. The rooms were clean but nothing like nice soaps or shampoos , just very basic supplies. No blow dryer in the room so bring everything you need. Also very basic bed covers/sheets/scratchy towels. Just not at all what we expected for the price we paid. You...

'The property is next door to their restaurant. Not enough parking for both so if you leave for dinner don’t expect to come back to a parking space at the hotel as restaurant patrons park in the hotel spots even though it is clearly marked for hotels guests. Hotel wouldn’t do anything about it.'

'There are teens that come off the boardwalk and use the pools- inside and outside. The lack of supervision means they get out of hand behaviorally. There were two teens actually engaging in sexual activity in the inside pool one night. We informed staff and it took over 30 minutes for anyone to come.
