'This was such a wonderful stay. The Beach House is so convenient to everything and just a walk across the street to the beach and pier. The Lazy Turtle is a perfect spot as well for a quick bite to eat or a delicious drink. The staff was so kind and helpful. We forgot our beach chairs and they have rentals that were incredibly reasonable so we could enjoy the day. They even loved on our sweet pup as well. We will definitely be back'

'Very kind and helpful staff. Very clean and comfortable room. Enjoyed the breakfast options. Will plan to return here next time!'

'Hotel was very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back.'

'it was clean, great location. However the breakfast wasn't good. No eggs, or bacon, no danish or other pastries. You could microwave a biscuit, or make a waffle, get an orange, juice, 2 types of cereal, coffee.'

'Cute place, right on the beach! I had some initial issues with the original room I was given. When the issue was brought to the attention of the manager, she immediately changed my room! Room is very clean, and the bed was quite comfy!! The shower pressure was excellent! AC/heat was also great!'

'We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family.'

'The room was clean, staff was very helpful. Pet friendly was a plus. The ocean view was amazing and awesome to walk out the door right to the beach.'
