'This is a little gem in the heart of a village Highly recommend to everybody, restaurants pubs shop and beach all within minutes of the cottage’s property was spotless clean and lovely and warm , met the family over the course of four days all very nice with plenty of smiles every time you see them Very dog friendly with many lovely walks around the area'

'An unusual interior layout but excellent in terms of facilities, parking and comfort. Its location is good for access to the Lake District but more importantly the excellent beach at St, Bees which is dog heaven!! The location being next to the railway station(very quiet and not a nuisance) offers the opportunity of leaving the car behind and travelling by rail to nearby locations. Excellent hosts living on site. Highly recommended.'

'This is a very small converted milking palour that is really only suitable for a night or two's stay. While the bathroom is well equiped, it is small with zero shelfing. The bedroom is cramped with one small recess that is unusalble because it's behind the bedside table. There is a third bed, but that's in teh main living area, so if the person using that bed wants to go to sleep, everyone has to go to sleep! Due to the bed in the living space, there's no table to sit at, so if you did want...

'We enjoyed our stay immensely. The owner was very attentive to our needs, property was very cosy and warm, and ideally located for local amenities and touring the area. We will return!'
