'Lovely host, location, and we had all we needed in the cottage to prepare small meals. It was clean, close to where we wanted to explore and located in a nice village. There was enough room for the two of us and our dog. I wholeheartedly recommend it'

'We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!'
