'The host, Jen, was super friendly. You’re literally right on her farm so you see her out and about regularly with the animals. My son loved being able to roam around and see the chickens, especially. The old 1800s cabin is super cool. Just an all around awesome time unplugging from the world and reconnecting with family. '

'Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! 'The house was super cute and very well appointed. My kids absolutely loved the loft beds and my wife loved the super cozy and comfortable king sized bed. Even though it was a tiny home, the kitchen was stocked like a gourmet kitchen and had everything we needed to cook amazing meals in it. We cooked all but the dinner on the night we arrived at the house. The coffee bar was excellent as well, my wife loved indulging in speciality coffees.
