Motels in Southeast Michigan

'Royal oaks was a great little town and this motel was a new experience for me. The lounges and outdoor areas we wonderful and the staff was helpful. It was hard for me to get the old motel feel out of it but they really did a good job. I wish they would put a table and lamp on both sides of the bed and have more choices at breakfast.'

'Pretty bare bones. Not many outlets for charging. I was pretty nervous about staying there based on the "no guns" sign. You interact with the staff from the outside/sliding window. No way to adjust the heating/cooling. It was clean and the staff were pleasant enough but I would spend more to stay somewhere else. I didn't feel safe. There is a Mediterrarean restaurant close that is fantastic though.'

'This room does exactly what you need it for, the property has been cleaned up in the last few years.. the people who are now taking care of the motel has done a great job with cleaning up.'
