We've stayed previously at one of the other condos, I generally pick this area due to the views are great and it's very quiet, no loud music or loud guests as per this and previous stays. The condo was very nice,however we did have issues with the internet the first night but was resolved the next day. I noticed the condo was not swept as there was much sand/hair on the floor, sunflower seeds under the bed as I swept and food crumbs on the master bed. I hope the sheets had been washed. The night before we left there was a water leak in the air conditioning closet, notified management and they requested to put towels on the floor, took pictures and sent to management. The only other thing was the shower faucet in the master bedroom was corroded and in need of repair. Other than that, our stay was great and enjoyed the time spent at the condo.

I didn’t receive the email about the check in process so that took some time. In the email it said we could get a key to open the storage for the extra chairs and rackets, etc. The property manager said someone would come open the door and then never returned my texts so that was annoying. Still a great unit and on the beach which is wonderful.

Running vacation

The condo was great, spacious and clean. Great location for to the start of the races for the SPI 5K and Half Marathon. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect!

Just returned from a week at this property and it was perfect! The beach access and view was amazing - can’t ask for a closer condo to the beautiful water and sunrises! Everything was clean, lots of space for our family of 4 to spread out and the beach chairs and toys in the storage closet was an added bonus. The staff on site were the friendliest people - so helpful and welcoming! We had a blast at South Padre Island and were sad to leave! Def will be back!

Great view, comfortable place

Conveniently located in a building on the very south end of SPI. Comfortable, most everything we needed was there. Oddly low on drinking glasses. Dishwasher works but the lights indicating cycles, etc don’t function. Complex is smaller than most on the island, seemed quiet and still lots of people of all ages around pool and grounds.

Beach view and easy beach access

We are a family of 5 and wanted to be as close to the beach as possible so getting the kids and all of the things to/from the beach wouldn't be a challenge each time. This fit the bill perfectly. The balcony made for sweet moments with sunrise/sunset overlooking the beach. The kids had a great sleeping arrangement - there are two double beds (not queens) in the second bedroom. The condo was so easy to use and having that utility closet with all of the beach gear was a stellar surprise. We were able to use the washer and dryer in the unit, but couldn't figure out the dishwasher (we never asked for help so that's on us for sure 😊) The beach was perfect! Sand bars and easy waves were kid friendly. I was sad to leave it. Stay here for a great beach experience. South Padre is amazing and this condo was the cherry on top. Just remember to bring your own beach towels as there are only enough towels for each person, once....🙂 Thank you for a fun place to make memories!

Not bad condo but needs improvements

Overall it was a 4. We had several interruptions from management needing to enter the condo due to above condo issues. This was very inconvenient as we had to shorten our beach time and the 2nd time, had to come back from visiting Port Isabel which they didn't bother to show up or inform us the were no longer coming until I called them back after waiting in the condo for 45 min. The condo had furniture that was broken (2 red bar stools). Luckily, I noticed the broken chairs (missing 3 screws out of 4) and reported to property manager along with other things that were damaged prior to our stay. For the price they charge for cleaning, it was not up to par. The nice view from living room was obscured with caked on residue outside of windows. The bedroom windows were very clean and allowed for a nice view of beach. 2 huge windows in guest bedroom point directly inside the hallway bldg where the light shines bright throughout the night near elevators and is very difficult to sleep. Although there are blinds, it doesn't help. Most of the other condos have blackout curtains to allow better sleep. If the bldg would invest in sensor lights, it may help.

SPI getaway

The property was as expected except the dryer was not operational and the washer had a smell coming from it that smelled up the room until we ran a empty load. We weren’t able to wash clothes anyway however because the dryer didn’t work and the property manager said they weren’t responsible for anything inside the door.

Property manager not responsive

The refrigerator was leaking on the floor when we checked and I immediately called the property manager and she said that "if it got worse, to call her back???" I told her that was not acceptable and I paid full price for the room for three nights and if she could send someone the next day to take a look at it. She did not and I had to lay a towel in front of the refrigerator on the floor my whole stay. The refrigerator in this condo is not in the kitchen...it is in the main walkway from the entrance of the condo to the living area and bedroom and it was ridiculous that we had to tolerate that all weekend!!! I am not pleased at all and think the property manager,..Ms. Criss, should have been more responsive. Also, this condo (507) does not have any ceiling fans and most units in this complex do. They do help to circulate the air better with the high humidity of the island.

My family and I got the opportunity to stay in this great condo. Everything was clean and the beach access was amazing. I would recommend this condo to anyone and would gladly return in the future.

Beautiful Condo on the Beach

Very clean. Nice furnishings and kitchen. Beautiful balcony view of the beach. This unit is well worth considering for your SPI beach trip. Condo development is right on the beach and only about a 15 min walk on the beach to the jetties and Isla Blanca Park. Also walking distance to the Sea Ranch Restraurant and Pier 19.

Perfect Getaway

Perfect location. Did not encountered any problems with this place. What we enjoyed the most was sitting in the living room, balcony, bedroom and even be cooking in the kitchen and enjoy the ocean view. Loved it!!! A very relaxing Getaway with friend and family!!!!

It was perfect

We had 4 adults and the space was perfect! So spacious and loved the floor to ceiling windows. Simple contemporary design and comfy couch helped to make it feel like home away from home. Beds were comfortable too!

This was a great location and the view was amazing, however the property needs some maintenance and a really good overall cleaning. We had to call the manager to get things fixed and were never really fixed during our stay. Both of the pools had non functioning hot tubs, which was disappointing. The under cabinet lights were disco lights and were inoperable. The light under the microwave was never working. The most disappointing thing was that we were never told of a storage unit, right next to the unit where all the beach and tennis supplies were kept. We found a key hanging in the closet on our last evening there. We happened to try it in the storage unit and it opened. All chairs, wagon, rackets, beach toys etc. were in there to use. The email from the management company said nothing about this. We used our own towels to lay on the beach, when we could have been using beach chairs and umbrellas the entire time. Would have really added a nice touch to the vacation, would we have known they were there. We were provided no instruction on how the TV worked. We were able to log in to our streaming service through the app, but when watching the main tv in the living room, it kept turning off the one in the bedroom when trying to use it. The connection was not that great either. The TV kept locking up. Lastly, the beds in the spare bedroom were very tiny. They are good for kids but not for grown adults. My husband and I had to sleep separately in order to be comfortable and my husband is 6'6, so was very uncomfortable for him, as his legs hung far over the end. Also, there were no extra blankets in the unit, so we had to purchase one for my son, because he had to sleep on the couch due to the small beds in the spare room. If the unit was cleaner and everything was working, I would stay here again.

The PERFECT Beach Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Sea Vista! The condo was gorgeous, super clean and the view was spectacular! Everyone at the property was so nice and helpful and Criss was wonderful to work with throughout the entire booking process, check in, and visit. Safe and convenient access to the property and building and just a short walk down to the beautiful beach. My 4yr old was so sad that we had to leave but we will definitely be back!
