'I stayed at icom blue sea view for 3 nights in the honeymoon room with jacuzzi on level 11. It was spacious and central to everything. The pool on the top level was awesome with the best views of Maafushi. The hard boiled eggs at breakfast were delicious. The shisha was great too.'

It’s a guest house vibe (not luxurious) but comfortable and convenient location, 3 minutes from Bikini Beach. The staff are incredible, especially the lovely lady at the front desk. 'We zijn eerder op het eiland Maafushi geweest maar voor het eerst in Kaani beach hotel. Deze accommodatie is een prima plek op Maafushi en lekker aan het strand. Een klein min puntje is dat de bedjes tegen betaling zijn. Dit komt omdat dat van een andere uitbater is. Maar tegen een tarief van een drankje zijn de bedjes en parasol gratis dus een prima deal. Aan het zwembad boven op het dak zijn de bedjes wel gewoon gratis.'

'Everything in the room was worn out or broken (5 light switches didn’t work, closet and table fell apart, 2 lights were about to die, the tv didn’t work etc.). It was NOT possible to lock the door to the balcony. So in theory everybody can enter the room if they want to. Actually, it was impossible to close the door so we had to tape it together to get the mosquitos outside. There was no lock (as mentioned) available in the room. The curtain doesn’t cover all the windows. There is light coming...
