'Hindman House is an incredible find! Whisper quiet. Peaceful and calming. The wood logs of the cabin, the updates to the kitchen and bathroom... it's all lovely. The kitchen is stellar, fully equipped, well stocked, a pleasure to cook in. Take your morning coffee out on to the front porch and you'll want to stay there all morning, with hummingbirds in the bush beside you, more birds at the feeders, and cheeky chipmunks coming up on the porch to panhandle. 'The property as a whole was pretty well looked after. The cottages were rustic and adequate for our needs. The kitchen area had all the equipment one would need but water for washing had to be brought in by a water container. We brought our own drinking water. The washrooms were close to the cottage and were adequate and clean. There were 2 showers. The picnic table was by the cottage and close to the water was a great place to hang out and have our meals.
