'Nice place, quiet and clean, surrounded by woods so peaceful setting but near shoos and restaurants. OK pool but no hot tub. Breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Room has a kitchen with dishes and cookware. Nice size closet for a studio suite. My only real complaint was the beds were like cement and so uncomfortable. I had to buy a mattress pad just to sleep. The pillows didn't have any stuffing and we're like sleeping on cloth.'

'This is a pleasant modern motel on the outskirts of town. It has nothing special about it -- the room is basic, and functional. There's no in-room coffee or water heater. 'My favorite thing about this hotel was the shower head. Very powerful. We had a city view room on 11th floor. One of 2 complaints we had were that we signed up for 2 queen beds and received 2 full beds. We were told by staff that this was an Expedia problem and not their problem (although their own website lists queens as well, so be sure if this is important to you that you really delve into that). 'The location was great with a view of the harbor and the lift bridge from the room. It was a short walk across the lift bridge to Canal Park and good food, museums, and shopping. We went to the Great Lakes Aquarium, the William A Irvin ore ship museum and walked along Lake Superior. The buffet breakfast was great and everything was clean. This was a wonderful place to stay.'

'Reminds me of some of the best hostels I stayed in while traveling in Europe. Super clean, very modern, and a great vibe. Joe was there when we checked in, and was super helpful in helping us get settled. Great retail store below, and a cool looking bar as well (window-shopped the store, didn’t hit the bar). It is a hostel, so be prepared for shared bathrooms, etc., but we expected that and it was all in all a great stay. Will totally stay there again!'
