'The duplex was very neat and clean. Everything is very well organized and easy to find. The communication with the host was top notch and they were very accommodating. I didn’t know it was a duplex and thought it was a house so that was a surprise. I live in KY and know how humid it is here and they had a dehumidifier in the unit to help with that but there is a strong mildew smell throughout the duplex. The air unit is extremely loud and shakes the floor especially in the back bedroom. Overall...

'We had an absolutely wonderful stay at First Frontier Lodge! The cabin was beautiful, very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. We especially loved having the hot tub and game room to enjoy after a day out.Eva was a wonderful host — very responsive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was exactly as described, and we truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely stay again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area! '

'The host was very proactive in communication and their response to our questions were always timely. The house itself is very spacious and comfortable. A good place to relax after a day hiking at the Gorge. Not much of a yard to use, but for our group it was not a factor. It is also by the main road, but could barely notice it when inside the house. The gas grill needs new grill grates (very rusty from previous usage). There was a hot tub and fire ring, but our stay was too short to use...
