'The property is well maintained. The staff is very professional, friendly, and accommodating.
My only complaint is that the shower pressure needs to be increased. Low water pressure in the showers made the showers longer to rinse off the shampoo and soap. Other than that, everything was great. '

'The Alder Inn is very well located in South Lake Tahoe. Nice setting, very close to the beach and about a 30-minute walk to the stores and restaurants in Heavenly Village. Property seems a bit dated and it is a bit weird that there is no staff on-site. This did not hinder my stay however. The rooms could use a bit of an update, to bring them a bit more into 2024. But it was comfortable, rooms are spacious and it's very easy to get too.'

Our room had a really bad smell. The sleeping couch was worn and torn. The furniture was uncomfortable. The bed was fine. There were some coloring stains on the duvet. The floor was very uneven and there were cracks in the ceiling. The windows couldn’t be opened since the insect screens were torn and there was so much dirt and cobwebs between the screen and the window. It really felt dirty.
