« We found the Edinburg to be perfectly situated right between the falls of Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss. « I arrived late and my pod had been given to someone else. No problem - a very helpful young man came by and set me up in a different pod. The place is in a spectacular location and the pods are super-comfortable, cozy, and warm. I would stay there again in an instant. »
"This is a 2 star motel at best. Very basic rooms and facilities. We paid almost 500⏠for 2 adults and a child for a tiny room. Room 101 was very noisy as it is the 1st room next to the restaurant At night we heard banging sounds and loud voices. Even with the window closed, they have a huge problem with their air vents in the toilet making an unbearable noise with the wind outside. When the window is open the sound is completely deafening! Anything but peaceful, The hotel had an unpleasant wet shoes/socks smell all throughout!!! Corridor leading to all the rooms is very dark and dingy! This was NOT a comfortable stay for us and definitely our least favorite place in all our 6 hotels in Iceland! Hotel interior in general looks cheap and budget level. Very deceiving! "
