Although this part of the island has not fully recovered from hurricane Irma in 2017, this location is not short on charm, fantastic food and things to do if you’re looking for a relaxing vacation. 'Stayed at the costa rose for 7 days over winter break with my family Of 4. Older kids were able to have their own bedrooms and bathrooms due to the spacious accommodations. Having a washer and dryer on site was great in order to keep up with the laundry and get fresh towels as needed. The property managers were always available to answer any questions. 'Our 3rd stay in Orient Bay and we loved Sea Side 9. We especially liked the location, the spacious second story main bedroom with exposed beam ceiling and the corner balcony. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking including spices and frig with filtered water - no bottled water is a big plus. Short walk to village and beach. We rented a car again - get a paper map as GPS is lacking. 30 minute drive to condo on Sunday but over 1 hour return to airport on Saturday with stop and go via Marigot...

'We had a fantastic week long stay. It was a quiet community of condos and any neighbors we saw were very friendly. As mentioned, the beach sand does have a lot of sea glass, which is in no fault of any owners...it is coming in from the ocean as far as we could tell. Most glass pieces had been worn down smooth, but there were newer sharp pieces as well, which is unfortunate. Keep that in mind if you have children coming on vacation with you. 'Loved the whole week. Everything worked mechanically as it should. Walking to the beach was easy and close. Kitchen was well equipped, although we ate out every night. 'This place is at the end of the busy part of the Main Street in town. We knew it was next to a cafe but didn’t realize the cafe is also a bar, so there was music till midnight. Fortunately, the music wasn’t as loud as a lot of places and the windows were good at blocking most of the noise. The place was comfortable and the AC worked well. We had the perfect spot to watch the Carnival parade (every Tuesday night Feb- April). Great location for restaurants. No beach here - my husband walked about...

"The accommodation was extremely beautiful and very quiet, which we liked because we could sleep a lot after our jet lag. The service was friendly and they helped us whenever we had a request. The rooms were clean and there is a small restaurant for having dinner every night which we enjoyed. My only tidbit was that the bed was not comfortable. We asked for the mattress to be flipped after 2 days of our stay which helped a bit but it was not perfect. I would suggest better quality mattresses in the future because if you stay as long as we did (14 nights) sleeping on a bad masters then your back will definitely feel it. For the rest everything else was great. "

"Super hotel. Ontbijt heel eenvoudig maar keurig verzorgd door de vaste vrouw vrijwel elke dag aanwezig. Receptie-personeel heel behulpzaam en superservice gericht. Het is voor ons zeker een aanrader en gaan zeker nog een keer terug naar dit geweldige hotel. Kookfaciliteiten aanwezig. Kookpannen zeer incompleet. Maar restaurantjes te over. Strand op loopafstand. Heerlijk "
