'Communication was excellent, the place was very clean, lots of dishes, forks, spoons, well everything was nice. A couple of maintenance issues but they were explained and didn't inconvenience me at all. Two things, if you are arriving at night, the building numbers are on the far-left end of the building, white with red background and blending into the second-floor balcony railing. Got to look because my GPC brought me 2 or 3 buildings further down. Secondly, if you have some kind of stick...

'My family spent a couple days at this charming cabin as described close to several ski resorts. Due to arctic temperatures and blasting winds we ended up spending more time inside the cabin than on the slopes. Nevertheless we had a great time and enjoyed our stay. The host was very pleasant and responsive. We would love to return another winter.'

The light switches were the only downside. There were so many that went to nothing we could figure out. The sliding doors were also not the easiest to use, impossible for kids but seeing as I didn’t want them out without us anyway I wasn’t bothered by it. 'We had a fantastic time! The house was immaculate. Had everything we needed. Plenty of towels. Lots of kitchen items including a few basic spices with olive oil etc. Hot tub was perfect. Game room was so much fun especially enjoyed playing Hookey! Would recommend anyone to stay here! Plenty of room to host a lot of people. Thanks!'

'Upon arrival, we were greeted to a welcoming wave and smile by Kyle the property manager. Kyle was wonderful to work with over the phone and took care of booking issues promptly. We truly enjoyed our stay in Holderness. The unit itself was very cute and adequate for our stay. 'The property is nicely located for visiting surrounding hiking trails and points of interest .We visited some great local restaurants and shops and went on The Cog Railway, which was wonderful! The house is comfortable and nicely furnished, and the hot tub was a big hit! There were thoughtful little surprises waiting for us, and Abbey and her team were quick to answer any questions before and during the trip. Thanks so much for everything!'

'Perfectly clean and everything worked. Lights a little tricky to figure out. No dishwasher and could use places to hang up towels. Some poison ivy outside. Other than that, it was a nice, quiet, well-kept place, pleasantly decorated, exactly as advertised. Nice area, too.'

'We arrived super late and while it was very dark out the house was very easy to find. Entry process exactly as described.It was warm evening and they had on numerous fans and the a/c making it feel uber pleasant.Hade writhing we needed. '

"Our experience was a mixed bag. Check in was good; the British lady was lovely and friendly. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean and functional. However, the floors are made of wood and carry a lot of noise. We had a family with small children staying in the room above ours and it was like a herd of elephants was stomping around up there. The pool and hot tubs could do with a good scrubbing. The water in the pool was mucky and not very inviting. All went southways however when the fire alarm sounded a 7 AM in the morning. All the guests left their room and gathered outside but THERE WAS NO STAFF IN SIGHT. No one told us what was going on or what we were supposed to do. When we made a complaint about the poor communication around the fire alarm when we checked out the guy at the counter didn't even bother to look at me. It was a very disappointing ending to what otherwise had been a pretty decent experience. Do better! "
