Great View of the Beach and Sunsets

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fourth trip to HotS, first time in this unit (314). Excellent views. Clean, newer appliances. Round glass (scratched) dining table was a minor negative. Lacking in pillow quality and extra blankets, and could use a recliner (or ottoman) in the main room. Overall, the HotS property is excellent, familiar and comfortable, in a great location.

Disappointing stay

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in various units prior to 5his and have never been disappointed. This time however was different. While the pool and beach were great as usual, we were disappointed with the condition of the rental unit. There were problems with the appliances, the tv in the bedroom and part of the trim in the kitchen was missing. When we said something to the people in the office, they said that the unit was set to be updated in November. Knowing this, they should never charge full rate for something that was not up to par.

Great week at House of Sun

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unit 314 was wonderful. The view of the ocean was fantastic-lovely to watch sunsets from our patio and have breakfast outside. The unit itself was clean, had good mattresses, and stocked with everything needed. Would highly recommended.The House of the Sun location was perfect. It had a beautiful stretch of beach. Our kids played pickleball daily on the tennis courts. There were plenty of restaurants, bars, etc right across the street the the "village" was a short trolley ride away.The only negative was that I received a not so nice phone call from the front desk (Justin) accusing our unit of "digging holes" on the beach and not re-filling them which we did not do. They should have checked that our unit had not even arrived when the incident happened before making an false accusation.

Reviewer Comments: This year I had 4 overseas holiday , Firstly Tenerife in one of the top hotels on the island, then 4 weeks in Australia most of the holiday on the beach at Noosa then on to next trip was 2 weeks in San Diego California.However I kept the best to the last,The House of the Sun.. I have been a regular customer for at least 15 years visiting from why do I choose The House of the Sun? The apartments are compact but comfortable,the staff very welcoming and I think that the complex is secure.The beach is beautiful and the weather is usually excellent.The improvement this year was the provision of the waterfront loungers provided by the surprise,I have booked for 2023

Better than the photos online. It was a great stay as usual. Just know that you will need to bring anything required in a kitchen, like dish soap, foil, napkins, salt, pepper etc. The unit does not come with any of these basic items. I noticed someone everyday making sure things around the complex were tidy.

November 2019 Stay

Another great week in the books! Really liked this updated condo, amazing view from balcony! We would definitely rent this unit again. Only complaint is property could invest in a lot more beach chairs and loungers. We saw people taking chairs others were using, which was a first for us. Other than that, can't wait to come back!

May 2016 Stay

We loved our stay at House of the Sun! Our view, the condo and the weather were a all perfect! Looking forward to returning next year!
