'We went during the christmas period and it was really peaceful and lovely, touches like them providing a christmas tree was really welcoming. The site had a lovely woodland trail that was really nice to walk the dog round.The facilites in the lodge were more than adequete, the hot tub was well maintained at all times and checked everyday even on christmas day.'

"Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also very clean. The discount at the pub was a nice bonus; they have a nice selection of beers at good prices."
