Welcome to Willow's Retreat, your ultimate getaway in the serene White Mountains of Heber-Overgaard! Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature and watch wild horses roam by on our spacious back deck, or forest bathe while listening to the whispering pines on the front deck. Our pet-friendly cabin boasts 3 bedrooms (2 King beds, 1 Queen) and 2 baths, perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends, and is just an easy 2.5-hour drive from Phoenix. Our fenced-in backyard is ideal for dogs to relax in cooler weather and go off-leash.

Experience cooler temperatures in summer and snow in winter at an elevation of 6800ft, with unobstructed south and southeast views for miles. Our quiet cabin is located in Bison Ranch, and backs up to Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. You'll enjoy modern comforts like AC, high-speed WiFi, and streaming TV, along with well-equipped kitchen, gas grill, outdoor dining table, and games for a fun-filled stay.

Now with high-speed StarLink Internet (~150M/bs) for the entire family, you can stay connected to work and enjoy endless entertainment. Mountain Retreat Tranquility

This will be our second time staying at Willie’s Retreat. All I can say is what amazing cabin with huge covered deck to view the forest with wild horses, elk and deer. Mark and Eve thought of everything when they decided to share their beautiful cabin with others. The master bedroom mattress is comfortable with nice master bathroom. The other two bedrooms are just as nice and comfortable. The kitchen and huge living room space is relaxing and inviting. We played games, listened to music, watched movies, watched the wildlife and cooked lots of meals on the outdoor grill. We only left two times to enjoy a breakfast at The Nears Cafe in Heber and a drive to Showlow for early dinner. The kitchen is well stalked with spices and oils. Their kitchen was great for preparing breakfast and dinner. The tap water in Overgaurd is great so skip your plastic water bottles with all the microplastics and enjoy refreshing water that tastes like our R/O system at home. The back yard is fenced so or dogs loved getting out of the heat down here in Apache Junction. One more important detail is the absolute quietness that is around you. You can hear the birds and insects. This community is amazing. Star gazing is amazing here as well. We definitely will request further stays with them in the future.

We'd definitely stay here again if we head back to the Heber area. The property was clean and had a nice layout. We brought a 17-month old (very mobile) toddler, and it worked out really well. There was even a few toys and some kids books for him to play with.

Love the Wild Horses!

This is a fantastic property! What really makes it special is that the property backs up to open land where you can see wild horses. We saw them all three days during our stay. Bison Ranch is an adorable neighborhood. The Wild Women Saloon at Bison Ranch has great pizza and a fun atmosphere. We are so glad we stayed here and will probably stay again in the future.
