Motels in Ship Island

'We checked in on Father's Day and I forgot the lady that worked the 3:00 to 11:00 p.m. shelf on Father's Day but she was so friendly. She went on her way to make sure everything was good with us. The room was very clean. We had a view of the beach. First time ever staying there. Will be staying there again soon'

'Took a long time to fall asleep due to all the noise. Also someone preset the TV volume to full blast as a joke I guess. Very loud and painful. Definitely not funny! The noisy ice machine sat right next to our door and vehicles were parked backwards in front of our door and window. Got an unwanted early wake up. Left there completely unrested.'

'Hotel has lament floors, and we were having a hard time adjusting the room temperature a little warme,, so our feet felt damp walking around.'

The linens smelled like cigarettes. the concrete walkways were always wet with an awful smell. i understand this is a budget hotel but we were so uncomfortable that we did not stay the second night. 'Rooms smell of stale cigarette covered with Lysol even though I asked for a non smoking room. Fridge had moldy pizza that had been there for who knows how long. Smoke alarm was not connected to wall and battery was removed. Walls have stains and holes throughout room. Bathroom was a step up from a gas station restroom. Carpet had stains throughout floor. I am 99.99% sure no one ever cleaned the room and if they did that is horrifying. Security lock on door was non existent and rain water was...

'Locks on doors wouldn't unlock or wouldn't lock. Staff was not helpful! I've stayed in hotels all over the southeast, and by far this was the worst experience I've ever had. I will never stay at this place again!'
