'Get away from it all in a charming tiny home cabin (that doesn’t feel at all tiny). Extremely clean, well appointed, light filled, comfortable cabin - in the woods but not completely isolated. Wildlife sightings, Penrose Point State Park very close. Responsive host. Green all around. Rejuvenating. My cousin visiting from LA, and I from Portland, LOVED our stay! Highly recommend!'

'We went to Shelton to visit family and found peace, quiet and a beautiful cabin. If you like to hike and are adventurous the owners will guide you to amazing trails. The outside of our cabin was the best. A swing, hammocks, and fire pit. We highly recommend this place. We’ll be back next year .'

'We had a great time. Just a few things. Not enough towels for 6 people, only 4 towels. There were no extra garbage bags and we didnt know where to throw it away. The towel seat in the master was cracked and broken, hurt to use it. Outside had harbage and broken glass. Only 4 rolls of toliet paper, need more for guessed of 6. Please replace all light bulbs, alot missing. Under kitchen sink, leaked water. It would be nice for the property to be cleaned up with no weeds. The beds were very nice amd...

'About an hour or two drive to anything you want to see or do. Beautiful views. Nothing fancy, but a great cozy place to return to after a day of exploring. Main bedroom is very nice.'

'My wife and I stayed here for a few nights to celebrate her birthday. Everything was amazing -- a beautiful location right on the water, oysters were plentiful, the hot tub was amazing and the overall experience exceeded our expectations. We'll definitely be back!!'

'This house seriously needs improvement. The shower curtain was completely busted, so when we took a shower, water went everywhere. Also, the house has so little venting and so much moisture trapped into the carpets, etc, that if the windows are shut, there is significant condensation on the windows. There is a musty smell, and the beds are very uncomfortable. That said, the location is IDEAL, the beach and swimming pool are amazing, and the place is dog-friendly - all of which are serious...

Our host was very easy to communicate with and thought of everything to make our stay convenient and comfortable. High end appliances and amenities made staying here so enjoyable. 'Such a cute and cozy spot to relax! The cabin was very clean and comfortable, with great kitchenette and pleasant sitting and sleeping spaces. Bathroom and closet were large, and the umbrella on the porch was a nice touch. The wooded property is beautiful, and my dog and I enjoyed exploring the creek and waterfront access. It would be a great place to vacation with friends or family. I would definitely return here again!'

'We found the cabin to be cozy and comfortable. It was clean and well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and open living/dining room was great for our family of 3 to be able to hang out in. The neighborhood was a little bit of a mixed bag but was fine. The little convenience store around the corner was great.'

'We enjoyed the opportunity to take a winter break at this comfortable cabin on Wye Lake. Check in was easy and verything we needed was available. The weather was nice enough for a peaceful kayak paddle around the lake.'

'Really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is very nice. Would have liked more light in the dining area. Felt like the 10:00 am check-in was a bit early and we seemed very rushed to check-out. Ended up not having time to really look around the area because of the snow.'
