Never received a door code, WiFi password or room number for the place we were booked to stay. I called several times and got voicemail. I also emailed several times and no response. I called Vrbo at least 5 times to see if they could get the information from the owners. They couldn’t reach them either. I tried messaging them through Vrbo and nothing but generated messages with no information that I actually needed. So I paid for a place I didn’t even stay at.

I booked this rental for my son’s birthday / family vacation. After booking I got a message saying they’d reach out personally to give me the unit number and code. We drove in the middle of the night (6 hours away) to the rental so my baby could sleep on the drive. The hosts never gave me a unit number or code and ignored all my messages and calls from Vrbo directly. Thanks to this host our vacation was postponed and we lost 800 dollars on a car rental and booking a last minute hotel.

I'm not one to leave a not so good review. But, i have stayed in VRBO'S for many years. I was not impressed with my most recent stay. I like to let the next person know my honest experience, so that they can be better prepared to stay in this unit. I first noticed the very dirty livingroon table. Had old food stuck to it. The entire unit needs the cobwebs gotten down. The ice maker doesn't work.You get the bare minimum in this rental. No extra linens, all kitchen pots/pans, silverwear and cookware appear to be cheap. What there is of it. My biggest complaints are NO kuerig. And the townhouse has a double glass patio door, that has absolutely nothing covering it. It looked straight into the livingroom. It was myself and my daugher. We felt vulnerable and unsafe our whole stay. My reason for my honest review is so that you can be better prepared to stay in this unit if you choose too. In my past experiences, i have rented much nicer at a cheaper rate. Also this property is not in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. It is about 30 - 45 minutes depending on traffic to get to Gatlinburg.

A great place to stay

This condo had more than enough space for 4 people. It was convenient to attractions and shopping. Very clean and quiet neighborhoodThe beds were amazing! It needed a few things worked on, but nothing that would interfere with your stay. We would definitely stay here again!!The hosts were very quick to respond and helped us out with information about the surrounding areas. They are top notch hosts!

Okay for the price

This property boasts a chefs dream kitchen but only had enough dishes for serving 5 people. About 16 forks and knives, and only 5 spoons. The Cuisinart pots and pans were dirty/stained and the dishwasher was not properly installed so whenever we had to do dishes it would tip completely forward. Most of the bathrooms were in some manner "unfinished" as well, with no where to hang towels in the master bath except the small bar above the toilet. The bedrooms were comfortable with nice beds and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Having the hot tub in the fenced in yard was nice as well.

Great Location

We really enjoyed this property. Our team stayed in neighboring homes and it was great for all of us to stay so close to everyone. The house was extremely roomy and never felt cramped. We will definitely recommend this location to others and hope to be back!

My initial assessment was to only give this property 3 stars. After reviewing the listing and the overall experience, 4 is appropriate. There is a fine line between a "value" listing and a "cheap" listing. I was expecting a value location, but enough things were cheap that I only gave it 4 stars. The location had an initial amount of all the essentials, including the hot tub as advertised. The beds were good, the TVs and WiFi worked, the kitchen had a coffee maker, ice makers, dishware, and cookware. What made it "cheap" was the excessive wear and tare / minor damage. The floors had a few gouges, the blinds had a few broken slats, paint was cracked / wore / missing. The listing mentioned that only "starter amounts" of shampoo, soap, and toilet paper were supplied. This turned out to be more annoying in practice than I expected. Hopefully with some small changes this can become a quality value rate listing.

Beautiful Condo

It was a beautiful relaxing condo with great communication with host. There were some issues hence the constant communication. We were unable to use the code the lock was broken. We noticed when we pulled up the blinds were broken and all the rooms. When we did get into the condo there were a few things in the inside that were broken as well. The housekeeping was terrible. There were starburst wrappers on the floor under the coffee table and beads from what I can assume was arts and crafts. They was syrup and oatmeal stuck to the kitchen table. There is about 5 inches of dust stuck to the exhaust fence in the bathroom. There were fingerprints all along the handrail going upstairs and all the light switches. The bathroom floor and the master bedroom tile was cracked. Other than the housekeeping it was a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was always hot and comfortable. No neighbors we're disruptive. I did address these issues with the host and sent her pictures so hopefully that helps with the housekeeping and the issues with the broken items in the house and most importantly the lock. We would definitely stay again just would ask for it to be cleaned a little bit better.

The stay itself was fine. Check in process was a nightmare. Gave us the code to a unit that was currently occupied and found out that our unit code was also given to somebody else. The furniture was cheap and falling apart, the unit was filthy and had to be cleaned by my wife. The walls had drywall mud on them and were not complete with paint as if they just came in there and slopped it on holes and called it good. One of the dining chairs was not level sitting or even close to. The unit we were given was not even remotely the same as the one listed. The maintenance guys were rummaging through or unit doing routine maintenance the first half hour we were there and stated ‘we were hoping you guys weren’t here on time so we could get this done’. All in all I will never go through these people again.
