Welcome to The Nest. An Original Smoky Mountain Cabin. This true log cabin This Cabin is secluded and off the beaten path. If that's what you are looking for then you found it! But the cabin is still close to everything! Best of both worlds! You get the authentic atmosphere of the Smokies with the rustic appeal, but all the modern amenities you could want. This cabin has been completely REHABBED with tons of custom features that give it the Smokies character with a modern touch. Sleeps up to 4, but great for that couple getaway or that perfect honeymoon. Two beautiful decks. One with all the privacy off the master and the hot tub with wooded and mountain views. Electric Fireplace (for Ambiance only, no heat) for that romantic/ cozy atmosphere.
A HUGE walk-in Couples Shower with rain head. This cabin has a history that still shows on the barn-style master bedroom door. It shows all the love from the previous guest who stayed at this cabin on their Honeymoon and left their mark when it was a Honeymoon cabin years ago. It's truly a ONE-OF-A-KIND! Easy to get to and a beautiful drive up the mountain with spectacular views of Mt LeConte on the way. (Only partial views of Mt LeConte from the front of cabin, wooded views from master bedroom deck and side deck) One lane, very well-maintained gravel lane to cabin. Secluded atop a beautiful mountain but just 7 miles from Gatlinburg. Less than 5 minutes off the Arts and Crafts Trail. 20 minutes to Pigeon Forge. The perfect location for your Smoky Mountain experience in a TRUE Smoky Mountain Cabin. THIS IS NOT A PET-FRIENDLY CABIN. THERE ARE NO PETS ALLOWED AT THIS CABIN RENTAL. Please be aware Internet is hit and miss up in the mountains We have tried to find better service but satellite Internet is all that is available at this time.

Perfect doesnt describe it! We will be back, my husband said i have spoiled him and he will NOT stay anywhere else. Comfortable, cozy and really has everything you need. We wish we could have stayed longer, and will next time. The road is a true mountain road, so if you arent used to those.....go slow and enjoy!

This was our 4th year coming to the “Nest” it’s our home away from home. Things that always stand out and much appreciated, very cozy, very clean, well stocked with premium laundry soaps, dish soaps, bath and body soaps. Plenty of towels and other supplies for the week. Clean hot tub, super comfy bed and pillows. We absolutely love this cabin. These are the reasons we come back each year! The owner really takes care of us! This year we were surprised with a gift basket full of gifts. It was a huge hit with my fiancé. Those items fit her perfect. Thoughtful heartfelt gifts! We are very thankful! It’s things like this that make the difference from other places we have booked in the mountains.. We already can’t wait to come back for another visit!! Thanks again Kathy for taking great care of us!

This place is great. Was definitely not expecting the way in to be what it was, but it is in the mountains, so it is to expected. Was suprised it took us 10 min to get to cabin once we got off the main road. Granted it was night time when we showed up and we didn't know the road. Heading out next day to explore, still took close to 10 minutes as well. We definitely would stay here again for sure if its just the 2 of us. Definitely wish we could have had more time to stay and enjoy it, but that was just the time we had to get away. The place was very clean and welcoming as well. I would definitely recommend this cozy cabin for 2 people looking to get away and relax even for a weekend.

I loved how quiet and remote the location was. Everything about the cabin was perfect for the two of us from the shower to the kitchen to the bedroom to the hot tub. Communication with the host was perfect. We would definitely go back.

This cabin was so charming! It is rustic, but it’s clear the hosts put a lot of care and effort into making it a comfortable place to stay, with lots of amenities.For those that prioritize privacy, there is one cabin across the road and one up the hill, but it’s very much off the beaten path. If you’re driving a truck I recommend getting there during daylight because the roads are narrow. I had pretty good cell service with AT&T, but don't go expecting to stream movies all day. Overall, we had a great time, and would definitely come back.

The cabin was so cute! It had great amenities, was well decorated, and perfect for a stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The drive out to the cabin is a little scary, I’m actually glad we did it in the dark the first time because we couldn’t see how steep the drop off was, haha! But it was fine, we never had any issues and we even had to do the drive with some random November snow! The cabin was very comfortable. On our 3rd night there the temperature decreased dramatically. We stayed cozy in the cabin but just know if you’ll be there in the colder months that socks or house slippers are a must as the floor gets rather cold. All in all, The Nest was a great place to stay for my husband and I. It was close to everything we wanted to do in the area (Gatlinburg, Dollywood, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and even Buk-ee’s in Sevierville) and provided a secluded, quiet getaway with a lovely view. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it completely!

It was very nice, beautiful, as described. Coupons available that we used, plenty of fridge space, some seasonings, cute guest book. Nice hot tub. Perfect place for couples.We requested an early check in and were told that was not possible so we explored gatlinburg until our check in time cameThe cabin was unfortunately not ready upon check in. We walked in the cabin and were surprised to find towels, trash bags, things everywhere, and then the cleaner came from the back porch which we also didnt expect. I thought maybe we were in the wrong place.The cleaner was very sweet and appologetic, we just dont know what was going on. We were not early or anything but she seemed to think that 4:00 was not supposed to be check in time despite what our booking info said.We ended up helping with cleaning so we could get settled quicker and start our last days of our anniversary trip.After that everything was fine and it was beautiful.

The cabin is in good condition and in a nice, peaceful location. The bed is super comfortable but the couch is not. The main issue we had is that the photos of the property do not reveal a set of steps inside the cabin to reach the bedroom. My wife, who has physical mobility issues, had a lot of trouble navigating the steps.
