'Staff were excellent at the front desk, gave us a welcome drink and a full tour of the facilites. Restaurant staff could use some training and a better process for servicing the tables. Hotel is clean, quiet and secure. Pool area with sauna and Turkish bath is very nice.'

'Honestly not worth the $ especially for a 5 star hotel, food was bad, ordered room service it was disgusting and no flavour, called back ask to have it freshly made it came and it was fresh so a 5 star hotel giving you old cold food? Shouldn’t happen'

'We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Palacete do Guerreiro Charme Hotel & Spa. From the moment we arrived, it was clear how much care, love and attention to detail has gone into creating this very special place.
The interiors are beautifully understated, with high-quality finishes, thoughtful details and excellent amenities throughout. Our bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the breakfasts were a real highlight: fresh, healthy, varied and absolutely delicious. The scrambled eggs may...

'Beautiful area and lots of potential to be an exclusove spot but unfortunately it disappointed in many ways, from the restaurant which serves overcooked food that doesn’t have balanced flavors to the staff that seems like they don’t want to be there and finally the facilities, especially the “spa area” which consists of two 60C “saunas” and a 35C “steam” room.
Expectations were very high, considering the price and exclusive online appearance but disappointed in many ways. '

'Extremely clean property. Staff were extremely helpful from the moment we walked in. They get your bags, and load them to your room. Easy and quick check in. Complimentary drink before you get to the room.
The place smelt like heaven. Not sure what that fragrance was going on in the building, but it was divine.'

'Marta was a perfect host on a brand new spot in Belmonte. We were amazed by the beautiful architecture and details of the place! We extended our stay because we couldn’t get enough of this hidden gem in the Serra da Estrela! We hope to come back again!!! '
