'We loved the Shak! Very spacious and clean. Great location for visiting sites on the south of KI. And we especially loved seeing all of the wallabies right outside (one night there were 10 at once, and one even had a joey). This is a special place and we highly recommend it. '

'Het beste vakantieverblijf van onze hele reis tot nu toe (5 weken). Midden in de vrije natuur, elke dag kangoeroes voor de deur en toch een mooi en comfortabel huis. De eigenaar is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam. Bakte zelfs een brood voor ons toen we aankwamen. Want in de wijde omtrek is niets te koop. Als je het echte Kangaroo Island wil zien, zoek dan niet verder want beter vind je niet.'

'We had 3 nights here and it was great. Very close to the beach (easy walk). The owner Ian was great, and couldn't be more helpful. Unfortunately the internet wasn't working, but this was not the owner's fault. Otherwise our stay was perfect and in a great location if you want to see the whole island.'

'Island Time is a great location for peaceful beach walks as well as a pivot point for island exploration. The property is comfy and well-equipped, with the verandah providing a great viewing point for visiting wildlife.'
