'Cottage in the Woods was an excellent place to stay and celebrate our anniversary. The property is cozy and beautiful, hosts are very friendly- welcoming us like family. Breakfast was delicious and so filling- just what we needed for our full days. Claytonna was so friendly and engaging, sharing the “things to do” in the area. Accommodations were wonderful, and a perfect location to enjoy Ricketts Glen State Park. We will surely return for a future stay!'

'Literally from the time we got out of the car, it felt as if we had arrived to stay the weekend at a long time friends home. After checking in, we were given several recommendations for dinner, then returned back to The Cottage to enjoy conversation, games and a fire with the hosts and other guests. A delcious home cooked breakfast was served to all around a large dining table. It was a very quiet peaceful getaway and just down the road from Ricketts Glen where we hiked the beautiful Falls...

"Centraal gelegen. Parkeergarage naast het hotel. Mooie lobby. Starbucks inpandig. Net als een bar met 40 bourbons! En een restaurant. Mooie kamer zoals gewend in de Usa bij dit soort hotels. Super goed ontbijt met zeer veel keuze en Carl van het omelet, pannenkoeken station waar je alles kunt laten maken. Maar vooral Carl is geweldig, stand-up comedian. Wij waren in Scranton om alles van de serie The Office te zien. Zwembad prima. Aankomst was minder. De dame bij de incheck bakte er niets van. Gaf alleen de sleutelkaart. Vergat de ontbijtkaartjes moesten we naar vragen. Stonden 2 personen op ipv 3. Moesten vragen naar wifi. En we stelden de vraag hoe laat het zwembad nog open was. Dat was dicht wegens onderhoud hellaas. Voor obs een teleurstelling want we waren op deze roadtrip nu juist om te zwemmen wat vroeger gekomen. Naar de kamer, alles geïnstalleerd bleek de wc door te lopen. Monteur gekomen. Kon gemaakt worden masr ging even duren dus andere kamer. Hoorden wij niets nadat we alles weer ingepakt hadden. Naar de receptie. Zelfde dame. O ja, kregen een kaartje andere kaner, geen excuses en niet even hulp met de spullen overzetten. Kan gebeuren met een wc, maar sorry zou kunnen. Toen wij aangaven dat het ook al jammer vsn het zwembad was, zei de heer die er ook bij was dat het zwembad wel open was, de hottub niet.De dame beweerde dat ze dat gezegd had, wat niet waar was.Maar toen was het 22.30. gek allemaal. Maar nogmaals bij het ontbijt en de bar iedereen super aardig"
