'The condo was better than expected. The view was unobstructed with a clear view of the large pool, beach and ocean. The balcony is private security is 24/7 including a locked gate and security at the pool and beach access. 'Definitely the most unpleasant vrbo stay, had to leave early as apartment was flooding through the windows. There were several roaches found. The bed skirts were dirty and stained from previous flooding. There was as mold on the back of the curtains from previous flooding near windows. we had to use all the towels to stop the flooding. Building staff was nice but building is very outdated. Elevators were small and only accommodate 3 at a time. Owner only gave a refund for days we did not stay,...

'Akumal is a special town that I have visited for over 25 years. This was my first time staying at LaSerina. Such a lovely location. The courtyard gardens are full of beautiful tropical plants, and is beautifully maintained. There is a large lovely pool in the center of this courtyard. The condo was decorated in traditional Mexican decor with lots of nice personal touches. The staff were amazing. Would definitely stay here again.'
