'We recently enjoyed a relaxing week in Sámara at Cima del Mar, and it was everything we wanted. The apartment was clean, the kitchen was well-supplied, and the bed was comfortable. The view from the balcony is amazing, and offers incredible views of both sunrise and sunset. 'Verbo's communication app didn't work for me. So we had a hard time getting our checkin information. We got it 20 minutes after we arrived through a tenant. Our unit really stunk of fish 🐟 that the previous tenant had cooked. Even the towels smelled. Steve offered to upgrade us to a better villa, but we were too tired after a long day of travel. 'This is a great property for the price. Overall I recommend this rental and would rent again. We were in an upstairs unit of a four Plex (3). No real negatives but a few FYIs. Host was super responsive. Pool is a definite plus. Good-size, super clean, there were lounge chairs but they needed padding, two large tables and chairs for all guests. Overall beautiful pool area. 'Host was very attentive. The unit was not well appointed with bowls, cups, chairs etc when we arrived. The host rectified the issues in a timely manner. We were 2 couples staying in a 2 bedroom. There are 2 bathrooms with showers but the main bathroom and kitchen sink does not have hot water. Unfortunately there were unseasonally high winds that caused power outages. 'Wow! This place has amazing views and is a short hike to town. Alejandro the property manger is like a concierge…he knows how to direct you to anything you want to know or do. The pool is awesome and steps away from the ground floor apartment. We took a shuttle to Sámara and were ok hiking up the hill to the apartment. But if that isn’t your thing, a 4 wheel drive would be necessary, like a quad or SUV. Highly recommend.'
