'What a fun and different way to experience life along the canal in this part of the city. The houseboat was very comfortable however, if you have a bad back or are uncomfortable with stairs, this would not be appropriate. Both rooms have lower ceilings. We were completely comfortable with the beds and sitting area. We took advantage of the upper deck and enjoyed the beauty of the surroundings and watching the boats go by. 'This property is very special being an early seventeenth century merchants house on the side of a canal. The views from the large fourth floor windows are wonderful. There is everything you need in the apartment for a holiday and the host is extremely helpful. We had a problem with a key which they dealt with immediately.It is important that prospective guests understand how steep the original stairs are - they are not suitable for anyone with any mobility restrictions.'
