This house was extremely disappointing. Three families traveled from Tampa to spend Thanksgiving together, but the property was in poor condition from the moment we arrived. The couch and floors were covered in popcorn, dishes were dirty, not enough utensils, etc. just overall not clean. The kitchen sink leaked into a bowl with mildew.Several major amenities listed were missing or unusable: no hot tub or fire pit, and the pool table was ripped and slanted. The patio and yard were dirty and nothing like the photos. Screens were broken, and the outdoor space was poorly maintained.Inside, the bedrooms were bare—only the master had nightstands—and all beds had only fitted sheets. We found trash and wrappers in the master room, gum and writing on the wall, a dirty toilet in one bathroom, and an open bar of soap in the shower.We initially decided not to complain, but when the upstairs AC stopped working, we contacted the host. She didn’t respond for three hours, so we reached out to VRBO. When VRBO connected us with her, she became argumentative, hung up, and then told VRBO she wanted us out that same night—at 10 PM before Thanksgiving—with two small children and a fridge full of food.VRBO persuaded her to let us stay the night, but she still forced us to leave by 10 AM Thanksgiving morning, ruining our plans.Overall, the property was unclean, misrepresented, and poorly maintained, and the host’s behavior was extremely unprofessional. I advise avoiding this property.
