My family and I enjoyed our stay in this classic Savannah property; a mix of antique and modern amenities. The house was clean and accommodating. The location was fairly close to everything; Forsyth Park and the riverfront. A bit more security would have been nice. The single door lock and lack of shades on the front door left us a bit nervous.Otherwise, we really enjoyed our time in beautiful Savannah.
The house is beautiful, but that's just about it.
The bathrooms in the house did not have locks and the drain in the showers sucked!
The check-in and amenitiy details shared on the email were different from the actual details and had to reach out to the host to get those once we got to the house.
Make sure you ask for the check-out details beforehand, because I had to come back two hours after checkout just to go through the list of things to avoid additional fees.
Overall our stay was very pleasant. I received the CV check-in information. My instructions gave a gate code and door code. There was no gate and the entrance code was incorrect. After call Vacasa and getting no clear info, we were able to speak with the manager and she gave us the correct code. When we got in the home, it was 81 downstairs and even hotter upstairs. It was 84 outside. The thermostat was on heat. It was very uncomfortable. The house was large and took forever to cool down. The home was charming and comfortable. The beds were comfortable also. After the initial disappointments, everything was fine. The historic district was a 5-10 minute uber ride.
While we were surprised where the house was located we were pleased with the house itself. It is a beautiful old Savannah home that was clean and had every thing a family would need. We would definitely come back and stay here again
