Hibernation Station – Free Spring Night

Experience that feel-at-home sensation when you walk into Hibernation Station. This property offers a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a coffee maker with both a standard drip and Keurig.

The master bedroom features a king bed and the guest bedroom a queen bed. Each bedroom has an in suite bathroom. Each bedroom has their own entry to the back porch. The bedrooms are located on either side of the living room. This layout is ideal for privacy for two couples.

Fire up the gas grill and enjoy the mountain view. At the end of the day, you can enjoy a relaxing evening soaking in the hot tub out on the covered porch. There is also an outdoor fire pit and horseshoes at Hibernation Station.

• Minimum Age Requirement: Hibernation Station is available to families or to guests 21 years or older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel and driveway is paved
• Pets: Pets are not allowed at Hibernation Station.
• Location: 4.5 miles to downtown Helen.

Beautiful view and very clean cabin. I reported to Georgia Mountain Rentals that the French doors leading to the screened in deck could be pushed open even when locked. The couch and chair needs to be replaced due to padding being worn. Queen bed was comfortable. The only other thing was a Keurig coffee maker was listed so we bought k-cups and they would not fit the Hamilton Beach coffee pot that was there. Quiet place and the hot tub was great! Close to Unicoi State Park and a few miles to Main St. Helen.

My wife and teenage daughter stayed in this 2 bedroom cabin and had a great week! Loved how the 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms were on opposite sides of the cabin to allow privacy. Truly loved sitting in the screened in deck area since I'm not a fan of buzzing and biting bugs. Also enjoyed sitting in the hot tub in the screened in area with the mountains as my view.Also, the cabin was very close to fun such as city of Helen, tubing, hiking, Anna ruby waterfalls among lots of other stuff. Highly recommend and my family would definitely come back to this cabin.

Perfect get away for couples

My husband and myself stayed with two friends (also a couple) and this was the perfect getaway. The property management was easy to communicate with and helpful. The house itself is just right for two couples. It’s has a bedroom on each end of the house with their own access to the back deck and a large living room separate access to the deck and hot tub. The view was beautiful (day and night) and we enjoyed all the amenities.We were close enough to Helen to pop down for lunch or groceries and to several trails and waterfalls. It was a perfect relaxing weekend.

Amazing stay! Beautiful views & perfect location!!

House was beautiful, views even better than the picture! Everything was super clean including hot tub and grills! We really enjoyed spending time on the porch enjoying the view and by the fire. Also pretty easy short dirt road going up to house street and driveway was paved which was great!! Just a 10ish min drive from main town of Helen so if you’re looking for somewhere quieter with a view but still easy drive to shops etc. this is the place! Would definitely stay again if we came back to Helen-loved it!!

This was a beautiful property inside and provided beautiful views outside! Even though we knew there were other properties to either side, it was as if we were alone "in the middle of nowhere" and we loved it!! The hosts checked on us to make sure we had arrived and found things to our satisfaction (we had on both counts). The amenities were fantastic, and we very much enjoyed our stay!

Cabin With a Beautiful View

This is the second year we have stayed at this wonderful cabin in the fall and we plan on staying here agin next year. Love sitting on the back porch and seeing all the beautiful fall colors on display and it is a short drive to Helen where we can get groceries, go out to eat and enjoy visiting the wineries.

Beautiful and Peaceful

My siblings and my sister-in-law were at Hibernation Station for 3 days. The Internet connection was not secure enough for either me or my brother to check in with work, but that ended up being perfectly fine! We enjoyed the fire pit, the beautiful screened in porch with rockers, and taking trips into Helen. We spent lots of quality time playing games, cooking, visiting and enjoying one another. We’ll be back.

Great stay...amazing view

We went up with our adult daughter and her boyfriend. There was enough room to spread out and feel like we were not on top of each other. And the view was breathtaking. Short drive into helen but far enough away to not be stuck in all the traffic. I loved this cabin so much and will be staying again in the future.

Beautiful Mountain Hideaway

We rented the cabin to surprise our friend's wife for Valentine's Day since they never go anywhere. The location was perfect. She loved it and the surprise. Close to downtown Helen. Hot tub on the back deck, loved that it was closed in to cut down on the wind chill factor even though it was cold. The only downfall was that the windows had sheer curtains so if you want to sleep in, the bright morning light will wake you up. The other bedroom had a full or double bed, it didn't seem to be a queen size bed. Overall I would stay here again.

Quaint, quiet cabin with great views!

The location is great, only about 10 minutes from downtown Helen. It was easy to follow the directions and the concrete driveway makes it easy to drive up. You have neighbors but a lot of privacy, we never heard or saw them. The view is so great, we really enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch. The cabin is quaint, a little dated but it was perfect for what we needed. It met our expectations and fit the value paid.
