'This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. 'The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. 'The place had a lot of potential, it just felt neglected and unloved. They had gone to a lot of effort to supply breakfast items in the shared kitchen and it was obviously visited each day by a host as it was tidied and rubbish cleared but some cupboards had random packets and crumbs,the salt and pepper pots were dirty and sticky. 'It is a unique property a hotel with no reception area. But the rooms were clean. The lady who cleaned the rooms was lovely. Text messages were responded to timely. We didn’t have any issues while we were there. We actually extended our stay.'

'We had the family room which has a small side room for the kids which was perfect for our short stay. Breakfast had excellent options and was high quality. Location was 2 minutes to south beach and 5 minutes into town. We would not hesitate to come back here again.'

'Prima ontvangst en nette kamer. De eigenaar was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. De minpuntjes waren parkeergelegenheid (zeer beperkt in de buurt van de accommodatie of op een betaald parkeren parkeerplaats), uitlaat mogelijkheden voor de honden (BB ligt in de stad) en het was erg warm in het gebouw (geen airco). Wel een aanrader.'
