'Very clean modern rooms, designed in a minimal but tasteful way. Salvia room was spacious with a private patio, loved all the amenities and complimentary kitchen treats. Saturnalia wine bar downstairs did a great dinner for us, and loved exploring the surrounding area.'

'It was easy to get to the hotel for a one-night stay whilst travelling from Pisa airport to the south of Italy. The room was well laid out, clean and had all the facilities we needed for the stay. We were informed about the air-conditioning being managed from the reception area if we wanted it changed. It was convenient to have somewhere to eat across the road as we arrived after 7pm. 'The area requires a car, but it is so peaceful and calm. The only downside is the bathroom in the room - it certainly wasn’t in keeping with the service and the rating of the rest of the property. The swimming pool and the food was exceptional.'

'B&B Borgo Vera is a sweet country home secluded in the fields of Tuscany. The host, Stefania, is incredibly joyful, warm, and accommodating... laughing, offering recommendations, and reminding us to slow down and smell the rosemary. The property is rustic and beautiful, with a wonderful swimming pool with a newly refinished bottom. It's a few miles down an unpaved road, and although it's a rocky road, it's worth it to arrive to such a peaceful and quiet place where the birds are the loudest...
