'Our stay was just okay, nothing to rave about. While the kids enjoyed the hotel on the beach and lazy river, the hotel elevator was super slow. The hotel was packed and the elevator was out of service. The staff didn’t really move fast when you needed something. 'The resort was perfect. The only thing that was horrible was the traffic. Took like 10 mins to drive 2 miles. Took about 45 mins to drive 10-15 miles to go eat. There is no parking at the restaurants and surf shops it stays packed because of the beach access right in that area. Ppl just act crazy to get parking spots. 'I decided to Upgrade my stay to a balcony Suite. Sooooo worth EVERY penny. This property is constantly updating the exterior and interior. Room was clean, fresh, modern. The Tiki bar was beautiful. Perfect for tons of Sports viewing with the BEST view of the Gulf. My 14 and 17 year old were extremely comfortable in the room and the hotel had great music by the pool for families getting that beach vibe. 'We stayed here over Christmas while visiting family in the area. The unit was dirty upon arrival. The floors and hard surfaced had not been cleaned. Some dishes were put away dirty. The dishwasher had black mold inside and would not be useful in cleaning dishes. We brought this to the property managers attention and they offered to bring a crew in on Christmas Eve to clean but we would of had to pack up our belongings and then unpack again once cleaned.
