  • Deze prachtige 'Secret Garden Beach House' in Santa Cruz is ideaal voor een familie en vrienden uitje. Gelegen in een rustig strand buurt. Een 5 min wandeling naar Capitola Village, 38 Ave Surf Sanctuary Beach en fietspad, Eastside Eatery, Penny Ice Creamery, Verve Coffee Cafe, Betty's Burgers, New Bohemia Brouwerij, Cliff Cafe, CINELUX Theater etc. De tuin is heerlijk om te ontspannen of barbecue in. Het interieur is smaakvol en comfortabel. Er zijn 2 slaapkamers (1 verbergen een bed in de woonkamer); 1) Queen bed met openslaande deuren naar een prachtige tuin. 2) King Bed with Master Bath, Flat Screen TV, Franse deuren naar Hot Tub (Onderhouden door Hot Tub Water Specialist). Het huis is schoon en zonnig. Keuken heeft Thermador Oven, (alle RVS Appl.), Koffiezetapparaat, koffiemolen, broodrooster, magnetron, Blender, Grote selectie van potten en pannen, Vuilnisverdichter, Stocked kruiden en specerijen. In totaal zijn er twee flatscreen-tv met surround sound en een dvd-speler, Hot Tub, Draadloos Internet, Barbeque. Originele Schilderijen, 'Heather Glass' Carved Glass hele huis, New High End Linens, Pottery Barn sectionele (met verbergen een bed) en voorzitter, marmeren open haard haard.

Absolutely beautiful bungalow. Super cozy with little garden nooks that are made from fairytale dreams. Beautiful artwork made by the owner. Truly a unique place.

Just like advertised. SARAH is a delightful host. It’s a really cool house she has.. hot tub is very private. I would definitely stay again.

My family had a wonderful time at Sara's. The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to Capitola, perfect for enjoying the beach and coming back to relax in a peaceful environment.

Great house and close to everything

We had a great stay at this house. It is well stocked, clean and comfortable. It was close to all the good surf spots. We would stay here again! The host is super sweet and very accommodating.

Perfect location

We really loved staying at this house. So perfect to travel with our dog. The location was great and just a short walk to downtown Capitola. Private and beautifully landscaped!

Spacious place in a quiet yet central neighborhood. Clean and comfortable, although a little gloomy in some areas. The layout of different gardens and dog access didn’t work for us very well - the sunny yard adjacent to the kitchen and dining room was off limits for dogs, and thus, by default, us. The yard was also the main access route for Sarah to the rear unit so also not especially private. Maybe I should have read the description more closely but this was not explicitly mentioned and did come as a surprise.

Magnolia Garden Home

Excellent place to stay! The host was great at Communicating with me. She had so many thoughtful touches that made us feel special and very welcomed. Her garden is amazing, just something out of a fairytale!! I highly recommend this place to stay - one of the best places.

Awesome stay

Everything is top notch. Sara and all the things she does to make your stay comfortable from luxury linens to treats ( both human and for dog) to beautiful gardens to her beautiful artwork and providing a relaxing atmosphere are more than expected. We have stayed here many times and plan to return soon.

Magnolia Garden Bungalow

We enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving holiday. Great location, easy walking distance to stores, beach, Verve coffee. Sara was only a text away. Kitchen is set up with everything you could possibly need. love the vintage feel.

We loved this cottage by Pleasure Point Beach

This cottage was perfect for my husand and I, our teenage son and our dog, Blue. It was cozy and artistic. The king size bed in the main room was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in while traveling. The hot tub was large, secluded and fit the whole family in. We loved the little garden area in the front. It was a great location, walking distance to coffee, restaurants and the ocean. And, Sara, the owner, was very accomdodating to all our needs. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Host seemed annoyed I contacted her ten minutes before arrival so that she could greet us with keys per instructions on VRBO ArrivalPortal. She stated these were “old” instructions (?). I would encourage people to print out arrival instructions because no access to internet before entering by keypad code which requires internet. Place was clean and decent, beds and couches not firm or new. It was fine but overpriced for what it provided. Owners exit and enter on path next to rental unit which does trigger dogs to bark.

Our favorite getaway!

We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this is our favorite. We have had the pleasure of visiting multiple times and enjoyed each one. The neighborhood is quiet, the gardens are beautiful, the decor is peppered with original art and comfy furnishings and Sara, the host, is wonderful. The King size bed is just right and the shower in the back bedroom is perfect. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and we have cooked everything from tacos to chili to pasta and fish. We all enjoyed the treats provided by Sara and our dog enjoys the fenced in front yard and walks in the neighborhood. There are plenty of restaurants close by and some within walking distance. We are looking forward to our next stay in a month or so.

Fabulous family time, with adult children

This was our first VRBO experience, and we were pleased with every aspect of our stay. Compared to hotels, this was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, safe, and relaxing. We appreciated the original art work, the tropical gardens, and the comforts of home. Our small, older dog was happier than he has ever been on a trip. The location is ideal, as the property is set between Capitola and Santa Cruz, just under half a mile from the beach. Thank you to Sara, our host, who went above and beyond to accommodate parking for my son's SUV and trailer. Wonderful memories: kayaking in Santa Cruz, an elegant, delicious meal at Shadowbrook, and relaxing in the hot tub. Everything went smoothly, and we felt at home. We loved our first VRBO stay! Bad VRBO experience

Not very good at all. No hot water for two days. Cold showers in December are not fun. Sink and garbage disposal broke and were inoperable for three days. This made Christmas Eve and Christmas Day meals difficult. Plumbers told us we should get a refund since the sink and disposal were clogged with black gunk and goo for a really long time. Owner offered nothing. Will not return, ever.

Home away from home: Simply Perfect:)

We came here to spend time with our brand new granddaughter and her parents. They live a half a mile away, and we could not have picked a more perfect place to stay. Sara’s magnolia cottage is peaceful, perfectly laid out and lovingly cared for. The gardens are spectacular and soothing. The hot tub was the perfect way to book end our day. I love, love the kitchen and all the equipment. We had everything we needed ( and more). Sara was immediately responsive to any questions or needs. We don’t have any pets, and this is a pet friendly place. The place was impeccably clean, and there was no evidence of any pet dander. This is the best place we have ever stayed. I highly recommend it . It’s also the perfect location with the beach and East Cliff just down the road: not to mention verve coffee, Pizza and a brewery within walking distance. I’m hoping that this will be our go to place on regular visits to Capitola /Santa Cruz. Truly wonderful and we are so grateful.
