Hotels met restaurant in Santa Cruz

'The lobby and pool area are very nice. The pool was packed with kids, at all hours. Overall, I was disappointed. The room was small, with scuffed floors and looking a little worse for wear. The shower still had hair from the last occupant. There was no microwave and the prices at the bar and for snacks was very high. Common areas (hallways, elevator) were dirty with leaves and debris. I sincerely question the 4 star rating and why I spent so much for the experience I had.'

'There was no hot water for the shower and the room service took twice the time they said. Beautiful view of the ocean from our room though. The hotel is nice but is pretty bare bones with the amenities. Plan on using valet isles you want to drag all your stuff across the street to the parking lot.'
