Flats in Sand Island

'The room was a nice layout and very clean. A larger bed in the one bedroom would be nice. A/C worked well especially in the bedroom. Building is overall clean and well maintained but could use updating. Location is excellent and price per night is much better than a hotel. It’s also nice to have a kitchen!'

'The unit had everything we needed for a great stay. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower was nice and warm. Soap and shampoo and conditioner were provided. And the kitchen had everything we needed to make small meals. The location can’t be beat just a short walk to the beach and lots of restaurants and the bus line. The host responded quickly to all questions and we would definitely stay here in the future.'

'The one star rating for communication is for the reservation foul up which was not the fault of the Ala Moana staff, they were amazing! Unfortunately, not booking through the hotel directly caused so much unneeded stress. I paid a lot of money before arriving and once at the hotel they had no reservation for me so I had to pay for another room through the hotel directly. I was fortunate the hotel wasn't fully booked. 'On 36th floor, beautiful mountain view! Parking pass for garage was great to have. Rooms were clean but dated. Can use some updates and we were charged a large restocking fee for just a few sample soaps and shampoo. Overall, very nice but bring your own suppies.'
