'Het is een mooi resort in een fantastische omgeving. Het personeel was heel behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het enige nadeel van dit resort is dat het iets verder van het centrum vandaan ligt. Het hotel is een goede uitvalsbasis om de toeristische atracties in de omgeving te kunnen doen.'

'We had a wonderful experience at the black rock lodge, the staff is amazing and you can feel how passionate they are about their work. The Tikal visit is a must. We had an amazing day on site with our guide Noel, we learnt so much about Mayan history and jungle fauna. We did also the hike to the summit and the night walk with the guide. Both great. 'This is the most amazing place I've stayed at. The ENTIRE staff was terrific from begging to end. My wife had the best massage she's ever had. The food was great and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. If I could give more stars I would. Be ready to unplug from the world and enjoy your surroundings. So much to do and see. I will be recommending this property to everyone one I know. My wife and I were making plans to come back before we even left.'

'The setting in the mountains is beautiful, and the place has a fun, rustic atmosphere. However, there were several disappointments during our stay. The listing advertises air conditioning, but it’s important to understand that the rooms are screened in, so the AC does not cool the entire room.
